You can use every shooting and editing feature of Feelm without signing in, and then we collect no personal information. Only if you choose to sign in to upload templates do we keep the information in Account below. Videos you record never leave your device. The app does download the material it needs — templates, shooting guides, audio — over the network, and if you correct the cut boundaries yourself it sends only those boundary timestamps (numbers) to improve cut detection. It also sends anonymous usage statistics (a random install number plus which features were used). Both can be turned off in Settings. On the free plan, Google AdMob ads are shown, and the ad provider processes data such as the advertising identifier (see Ads). Subscribing to feelm Pro removes all ads.
We, the operator, do not ask for or collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, or any other personal information. Our servers never receive advertising identifiers, and we use no third-party analytics. When ads are shown on the free plan, however, the ad provider (Google) processes the data described in Ads directly.
Uploading templates requires signing in with Apple or Kakao. Signing in is optional; everything else works without it.
To improve the app we send anonymous usage statistics: a randomly generated install number (not linked to your device or identity) and which features were used when (for example "app opened", "template created", "shoot finished").
What we do not send: videos, photos, names, email, location, advertising or device identifiers. We use no third-party analytics SDK — statistics go only to Feelm's own server.
Turning off Settings → Share anonymous statistics stops this immediately.
On the free plan, an ad appears once when you save a finished video to Photos (a rewarded video ad). There is no ad on your first save after installing. No ads appear while you shoot or edit, and subscribing to feelm Pro removes all ads. Ads never unlock Pro features.
Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show ads and measure them, Google directly processes:
This data does not come to our servers. It is handled under How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Turning off personalized ads — iPhone: decline "Allow tracking" when asked before your first ad, or turn it off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Android: delete or reset your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads. Declining does not change how many ads you see or what the app can do; you will see non-personalized ads.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, we ask for consent through Google's consent screen before showing ads.
When you change a boundary on the cut-editing screen, we send the changed boundary times (numbers, in seconds) together with the template's source post code, the video duration, and the detector version. We need to know where automatic cut detection went wrong in order to improve it.
What we do not send: your recorded video, photos, frames or thumbnails, file names, location, device identifiers, and any information that could identify you. For videos you picked from your own photo library there is no source post code, so none is sent.
Turning off Settings → Send cut corrections stops this immediately. If you never edit a cut, nothing is sent at all.
None of this is transmitted anywhere. Deleting the app deletes it with the app.
No personally identifying information is included in any of these requests.

The Instagram request is made directly from your device and does not pass through the operator's servers. The fetched audio stays on your device and never leaves the app.
Person detection, framing analysis, cut detection and every other AI feature run entirely on your device. No video or image is sent anywhere for analysis.
Videos saved to your photo library are saved with the audio removed. This is to respect the rights in the original song; when you post to Instagram you can attach Instagram's own audio there. Inside the app you still hear the song while editing and reviewing.
Feelm is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes we will post it on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes are also announced inside the app.
